Hi guys,
Just a quick post to tell you about a one of kind coffee house/restaurant I went to this morning for breakfast: the Waffle House! I was really curious about that place and especially since they prepare both sweet and savoury waffles. They've got so much choice! I could have gone fancy and go for a waffle with salmon or bacon on top but I wasn't brave enough. I had never even considered waffles could be eaten with something else than icing sugar! I guess you can imagine how excited I was when I saw the menu.
For my first time there, I decided to take it slow and start with a safe option: a Mixed Fruit & Nut Waffle. It's a small waffle baked with raisins and nuts, topped with natural yoghurt and berry coulis. I absolutely loved it. It was perfectly cooked, very tasty and made of good/fresh products. I loved how I felt I had just eaten a gentle treat rather than one of those heavy & greasy waffles you find in carnivals!
If you want to give a try to the Waffle House, the address is 39 St. Giles Street, Norwich.
That looks soooooooooooo good! Love going out for breakfast!
