I was born and raised in France. Until I moved to the UK, my breakfasts were filled with baguettes, jam, croissants, pains aux raisins and other succulent pastries. Then I met my boyfriend - born and raised in England - and it created a culture clash. At first I thought, how can English people have bacon for breakfast? or eggs? or anything salted for that matter? 3 years down the line, I'm convinced and I ask for it more than my boyfriend does. We went to this little restaurant called the Mulberry last weekend to celebrate my return from Italy and of course I ordered a Full English.
Let me introduce you to my guilty pleasure: eggs, grilled tomatoes, baked beans on toast, bacon, sausages and mushroom.

Although it's terribly unhealthy, I don't know anything better when you're very hungry in the morning.
What's your favourite type of breakfast? Have you ever tried a Full English before?
awww such a cute story!

Oh yeah, English Breakfast is a tough one. I could never have it every morning. I live in Australia and they have this kind of breakfast when it's 35 degrees outisde. I stick to bread and nutella, I have eaten it all my life :)
